Merry Christmas all!
That's what we hear around today! Yeah, today is Christmas night, do you know what should we do during Christmas night? There's so many thing, let see, for an example, we have Christmas party at a villa with our friends like in anime, having dinner with our family etc.
Actually, what is Christmas? generally people taught that Christmas = birthday of Jesus...
I agree, at least until 6PM today... At the Christmas mass today, i know what Christmas really is!
According to the homily today, Christmas isn't celebrated by the early Church until about 3rd/4th century. The king of Rome that time, Constantine, become Catholic/ Christian and decided to announce that Catholic/ Christian wasn't a sect from Jewish, but an official religion. At that time, many people were baptized and become Catholic/ Christian.
Why i tell you that story?
Jesus born in this world in the past where there was no birth document that time. We don't know exactly when the birth of Jesus. But, as our savior, we believe that Jesus came into this world as our savior and bright Light of heaven, justice, love, etc.
So, what is the relation of the stories that i told to you?
The 1st story told about many people were baptized that time, it means, Jesus, as the Light of love appear and came into this world that time, although He always stay by our side, but that time as the real prove! Jesus came as light, that was same as the event when He was born in this world.
Regardless the story i had told to you, we believe that Christmas as the day we celebrated the coming of True Light, Eternal Light, Heavenly Light, Light of Love, Light of Justice, King of the king, our Lord, Jesus Christ!
And we must do the same thing as Him, we must become kind person, humble, and loving each other and lived in a peace and joy!
Lastly, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012!!
